B resort question

We getting ready to start our trip and will be staying at the B resort for the first time. We read that some areas of the resort have been recently renovated but have been unable to find out which ones.

Does anyone have any suggestions for which section to request/avoid?

Not aware of renovations but the hotel is not so big there are "areas" but what you get is the room type you booked. Each type is located in specific parts of the hotel. You have the tower, then you have the lanai rooms. Depending on what you booked you will go to that specific area of the hotel.
