Where, in your opinion, is the BEST place to eat on your b-day. We are going for my sisters sweet 16 and we want to make it as magical as possible!!!

My nephew was 14 and he had a brilliant day.

We started off with breakfast at Boma where they gave him a Happy Birthday cocktail and he loved it.

For dinner we went to the Contemporary resort, California Grill and it was brilliant. When the meal had ended they gave him a piece of cake with Happy Birthday on it.

Both restaurants were great.

I have a now 17 yr old and an almost 16 yr old..... If we were going to be there for their 16th I would choose one of the following:

California Grill because we've had some magical dinners there. Time it so you can see the fireworks in the MK from the balcony of the restaurant...or better yet - get there early and ask for a window table because of the birthday girl. Call ahead of course and get a cake. 407-824-1576 for CG.

1900 Park Fare Princess Dinner if she likes the Characters

Chef Mickey's which is loud but fun....not so much about the food.

Beaches N' Cream - whole different experience than CG.....noisy, messy, but you can order burgers and the kitchen sink - which is literally a sink filled with ice cream.

Have fun planning....
I'm sure there are many more........

For my 25th birthday we're going to Cinderella's Royal Table! :) If she likes the princesses, it would be perfect. :thumbsup2

Oh there are so many posibilities! I say you know your sister best. If she still likes characters I say CRT or 1900 Park Fare or even CM! Otherwise I say Ohanas! Its where I have been for my last two birthdays!!

I agree in that you know your sister best and can choose according to what she likes. I don't think you can make a bad choice at WDW. Be sure you tell them when making your ADR and when you check in at the podium that you are celebrating a birthday. Check out the Birthday Cake thread to choose a cake and order it accordingly. And last, but not least, don't forget to pick up a Birthday Pin at Guest Relations in whatever park you are visiting.

Whew...with that all said...we are celebrating my niece's Sweet 16 with breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (She LOVES Mary Poppins)with a miniture wedding cake with a castle top, a day at the Magic Kingdon, dinner at Ohana, her favorite, with a huge chocolate cake, followed by a night at MVMCP. :wizard:

We were considering CRT, which I think would be great because we also celebrated her 6th birthday there, so it's like same place, ten years later. I think that's what we are going to stick with. I just wasn't sure if there was some place that just really made a big deal about birthdays!! Thanks all for you replies!! :thumbsup2
