b-day cake delivered to Chef Mickey?

I was wondering about those who get cakes delivered or have their b-day cakes at restraunts...what do you do with the left over cake? we r having my b-day dinner @ Chef Mickeys. I was thinking about having my b-day cake there but what am I supposed to do with the left overs? Do I really have to go back to the resort after dinner to drop off my cake? We r not going to eat a whole cake by ourselves. What do people usually do? Thanks

We were ate at LTT on my MIL's b-day last May. I pre-ordered a HUGE beautiful cake, which we couldn't even finish half of. Before we left, we passed it over to the table next to us. They had 2 or 3 little girls who were thrilled to have it!!

we celebrated my ds' birthday at Chef Mickey for breakfast! They sang happy bday to him and brought him out a special cupcake.

Honestly, at CM's because its a buffet AND they'll give you a special bday cupcake a full cake would be overkill from a food stand point. However, it is your day so if YOU want it, get it. Sharing either with other diners or the staff is a good move. Though I'd have to wrap at least one more slice for myself.

There is also something called a podium cake, you can order it when you check inf or your ADR. It won't have fancy decorations, but its 6" and should cost under $20.

If you're staying Deluxe you could have a fancy cake delivered to your room. That way you can store the rest for nibbling anytime.

I had my 34th b-day at CM and ordered a cake...there was just the 4 of us and there was alot of cake left over so we offered it to the large family sitting next to us...we were on our way to the MNSSHP so there was no way I could take it with us.

We r staying at All Star Movies. i really wanted a cake delivered there but I heard on the boards that it cant be delivered there.
