I'm so annoyed I could kick myself! A couple of weeks ago I purchased some Wallflower scents and pump soaps and they arrived the other day.. However, I had to leave the lake quickly the weekend before last and therefore 95% of my things are still up there.. (Hoping we can get them on Saturday..) I thought I tossed one of my plug-in Wallflower thingees in my bag, but I didn't.. Shoot!

So - when the stuff arrived the day before yesterday, I decided to take a whiff of the Frosted Cranberry because that was real "iffy" when I put it in my cart.. (I also got the Tis The Season & Apple Crumb - which I think will be fine even though I didn't sniff them to find out..(Don't mean to sound like a glue sniffer here but don't know how else to word it..LOL)

I did sniff the Frosted Cranberries though and WOW - not sure I'm going to like that at all.. It smelled bitter to me - and very overpowering (but of course the stem was soaked and it might tone down when in actual use)..

Will it smell any better when I actually use it? The sale was on a two-pack and I really don't want to go through the hassles of returning just that one item..

Also - does anyone have the other two I mentioned? If so, good or bad?

The pump soaps are small gifts :santa: - one is the Bing Cherries and the other Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.. Of course I don't want to open them to take a whiff, so has anyone else used them? Again - good or bad?

Thanks in advance for any info..
:goodvibes

Well it is kind of personal preference but I LOVE Frosted Cranberries. It is one of my all time favorites. I don't find it at all bitter smelling. I think the smell is mostly of just cranberries. It is a "cool" scent versus a "warm" scent. Maybe I am crazy with those descriptions! :rotfl:

Nah - not crazy..:) I'm just hoping it will tone down a bit when I actually use it.. For the most part, I like the scent of any type of berries..:thumbsup2

I think the smells do tone down some when they are in the diffuser. If you can make it to a store, they are great about exchanging scents.

I am sure it will tone down when you using it. It is a great transitional fragrance into the Christmas season. I also love Cranberry Woods if you like berry scents.

Well I'm back at my DD's again until sometime next April, so maybe she or my DGD will like it..

I can just use one of the others in my bedroom and office/scrapbook/craft room (when it's finished) since I keep the doors closed anyhow..:)

Anyone use any of the other scents or hand soaps I mentioned?

Made it back up to the lake today - got the rest of my stuff (including one diffuser - the other one must be here somewhere, but I can't find it) - and as soon as I got back here I wanted to plug it in the wall..

I was going to do the Frosted Cranberry but at the last minute decided to try the "Apple Crumb Pie" instead.. Whoa - I love their air fresheners! I didn't realize that all of them would be as heavily scented as the flowery ones I had last year though..:thumbsup2

Anyhow - I wouldn't say it smells like apple pie in here (although my DGD named off several spices she could detect) - but the scent it does throw off is just heavenly..:cloud9:

Now I'm anxious to try the others.. Adult DD & my DGD both want them for their rooms now too, so I took advantage of a sale today and bought diffusers and a few scents for them for Christmas (although technically I was supposed to be "done" shopping).. :santa:

If I find the Frosted Cranberry too strong for me - or just not to my liking - I'll be able to give it to my DGD or DD this way..;)
