Ok here goes.....

I was in Joann's over the weekend and they had all the sizzix dies on the clearance bin!!!!!! I NEED them!!!!!!

help me be strong so i can have money for our trip..........they have been calling me all week. pppppssss holly over here......i can hear them right now!!!!!

I'm not sure why JoAnns is dumping their stock. My LSS sold all the ones that didn't have Ellison on them for 1/2 off, but have lots of new stock. Some really interesting ones too. (Holly did not read this)

I am afraid I sucumbed to temptation the last time I was there. What I am going to do with clock hands and this teennie tiny library pocket thing I have no idea. But I bought them. I did get the jumbo file folder (that I used on boy-vs-girl swap so a good buy already) and the square frame (that will be used on my MK swap so another good buy).

Besides, I'm still working off $200 of ebay Jolee's and my DH will KILL me if I spend more $$ on stuff.

Everyone is discounting Sizzix since the Cricut took off. I haven't touched my Sizzix since I got my Cricut and I know a lot of other that did the same. You can cut something with the Cricut in seconds that would take half an hour with the sizzix. The Sizzix is old news.

When I was at AC Moore this morning (no....not buying scrapping stuff.... bead stuff for DD), I saw that they had the actual Sizzix machine (the original.... big heavy red one) on clearance for $19.99 !!! That killed me, as I paid about $80 for mine (about 3-4 years ago).

They did have a few dies on clearance, but nothing worth breaking my shopping hiatus for. I also saw dies on clearance at Michael's this morning.

Since everyone seems to be going for the automated systems such as Cuttlebug and Cricut, maybe this would be a good time to get some deals on Ebay on dies! (Keeps chanting to self... "no shopping, no shopping, no shopping" ).......................P

its so easy to say no shopping, but i have to go out tonight to get my sons teachers a gift and will be right next door.

I was able to pick up a few that I thought I might like, but it is really picked over! Everything that is left is stuff everyone already has...

I still use my sizzix, and got a cuddlebug for other dies and embossing. I think there is a place for everything. I'll be using my embossing folders for the next swap...and my sizzix too....

we went out last night to get teacher gifts and drove right past joann's. i did it, i did it.... yeah for me. so i can show self control after all. it's probably because dh was with me and would have been if i said "lets go to joann's". he hates to do stuff after work during the week. if it was on the weekend he would have been ok with it. but on a side note, i did get my teachers gifts. so that's done. another thing off my list.
