awesome week and a quick question

I just wanted to share my joy from last week.

I got my invitations, then sold dress number 1 for the asking price, picked up my unity candle (finally after 6 months and 3 different orders, which was not because of me), and dress #2 came in.

I'm gonna post a pic of my dress tommorow because I have a dilema. The dress needs to be shortened by at least 3 inches. The problem is that there is beading on the bottom, and the top of the skirt has some unique folding. I just don't know how it could be altered. If, I put in a hoop skirt it won't need much if any alterations (where talking less than 1/2 inch). The thing is I don't like the hoop skirt much. Has anyone had this situation before? What did you do/would you do?

I would try HIGH heels and a really poofy non hoop skirt. Maybe that would help

I'd love to see a picture of the dress--if you have picked out your shoes, try some really high ones, with a huge heel, that might help. Also, sometimes tailors can work magic, and take in/let out fabric that it seems impossible. Is it possible to take off the bottom of the dress with the beading, and then rehem it higher with the beading? (Does that even make any sense?? )

I know that I said that I would post a pic today, but my computer and photobucket aren't playing nice at the moment. I promise that I will get them up as soon as possible. I still don't know what I am going to do about it. I am taking the dress to a dress maker near my home, and see what she says.
