So yesterday our friends from San Diego called us at 10 am, letting us know they were on their way to DL for the day, to buy the family AP's for Christmas. My wife and I decided to meet up with them, as were planning to go to the Ducks game, but for those who have been following the Ducks this season, it's pretty obvious that DL sounded like a lot more fun than watching the Ducks lose another one. Anyway, we met our friends at DL in the afternoon, and their son is still new enough to potty training that when he says he has to go, it means he has to go NOW! Unfortunately, the lines yesterday were really long for everything, including the restrooms, and the result was an unexpected accident. That was about the time they realized they had left the bag with the extra clothes on the couch by the front door, in San Diego.
They went into the store opposite the Jungle Cruise, and they couldn't find any pants in their son's size. I went up to the CM in the store(didn't get her name, and I wish I had), explained our predicament, and she told us we could find pants in his size in the Mercantile store in Frontierland. I thanked her, and she said to hold up a minute, and produced a voucher for a pair of pants, on the house. Our friends were very surprised, and grateful, as they had pretty much blown the budget for the week on the AP's at the main gate. When we got to the Mercantile, the CM there was very helpful, and they got exactly what they needed.
This was a very nice and unexpected gift for my friends, and I wanted to share this the peeps on this board who can appreciate a good, unexpected dose of pixie dust!
