Awesome CM and hotel update!

Some of you have been following internal debate about DL hotel rates! This morning I got lucky! I spend about an hour on the phone with the most helpful CM ever! She added a day to my stay at DLH so now we are there 5 nights for $1000! She spent about an hour on the phone with me and saved me $400 and added a night to my stay!

Now I don't feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick! I booked on a pkg deal so we have the early entry to TT.

Wow is all I can say. I phoned and left a message about her service. Disney is so lucky to have her (and so am I)!

Okay, so you scrapped the Desert Inn idea? Well, I LOVE all 3 of the DLR hotels, and staying onsite really adds to my overall experience so I always think, if you can afford it, do it!! I think you will have a wonderful time. I have also gotten those CMs on the phone who spend a lot of time, chatting and explaining and trying to be helpful (usually females and not male CMs). Some of them are really wonderful!

One CM in Reservations that I got last year was explaining to me that her husband (also a DLR lover) had passed away 2 weeks earlier, and the only thing she could do to keep herself together and go on was to come to work at DLR - because her husband would have wanted it that way and because she had an amazing support system in the CMs she worked with. And she was SO helpful and informative with me - like nothing was troubling her at all. She was cheerful and perky and just seemed to really take joy and comfort in her job.

Yes, we decided to scap the Desert Inn idea because we can add 1 day to our trip and with the pkg it is only about $350 more (if we included that extra night at the DEsert Inn). She even went through her supervisor to get us the rate. I have to say I'm really impressed.

What an amazing cast member! I agree that Disney is lucky to have someone like her.
