aw, comeon with the AP rates already!

I need some sleep in the morning! I figured it out, and I must be losing a good 20 hrs of sleep this month getting up each morning to check if AP's have come out for Jan. What do I have to do, beg???(I'd gladly do it!

Get some sleep. The way Disney has been releasing the few AP discounts lately you probably won't hear anything until at least Thanksgiving, maybe even later.

Last year I don't think they came out till the first part of Nov. The year before they weren't released until mid-December. Sleep in.

I would wager that AP rates will not be released until at least Dec. 1st. If anything I would anticipate Dec. 1st as the very earliest given the prior years release of AP rates.

Good morning....hopefully, your sleep time will come soon. I am also checking on a weekly basis....as I do every year once I make the reservations. Last year, Disney released AP rates on October 28....keeping my fingers crossed for my next call.....

Mousesavers.com usually has the latest updates.

I am waiting for room only disc rates for 2004 or FL ressie rates for 2004, if I can bribe someone to get the room for me.

This seems like the right group to answer my question, should I go ahead and book rooms at the Contemporary for April, even though I plan on staying there only if we get the AP rate? I guess what I want to know is, will I have to make a completely new reservation when I get the AP code or will they add it to the reservation I already have? I don't know if it does me any good to go ahead and make them unless it ensures a room when the AP rates come out. Any idea when the AP rates will come out for late April stays, or if they will even offer them at all? It seems like Disney would have to continue to offer AP rates to appease the AP holders, even if they reduce the # available. Appreciate all thoughts!!!!

It it helps at all, at 7:00 am on the day when the AP rate was released this past summer, the switchboard was flooded with 200+ calls. I had to wait over 30 minutes, never got through and had to call back. Needless to say, rooms go quickly!! Also, sometimes Mousesavers will post information the night before, so check before you go to bed! Good luck!
