Avocado....

Green electric knife. It always make me smile when I dig it out of the back of the drawer to cut the turkey. We got it for a wedding present 38 years ago it still works just fine. We only use it about 3 times a year.

I also still use an avocado green canister set that was a present. (I do keep them out of sight in a cupboard.)

We used to have a matching green washer and dryer but they are long gone.

Yes, it will be thought of as cold and spartan. The people laughing will be going back to avocado and harvest gold.

LOL.....I have an avocado green electric knife too.....will be digging it out in a couple hours to cut the turkey.
It has lasted forever!!

I love all the avocado things.

I took out my recipe box today that I've had for 30 years -- got it as a wedding present. It has orange and yellow owls on it. It would go great with the avocado eletric knife!

Most definitely---And I'm sure it works better than my electric knife that I bought 2 years ago.

And my turkey was quite moist--but the electric knife makes a much cleaner and faster slice!

Of course. And people will stick their noses up at granite countertops. Everything goes out of style.

My mother had a lot of avocado green appliances when I was a kid, too!

My parents had an entirely bronze appliance kitchen when I was 12. The 'new' house I'm buying has a bronze fridge - circa 1973, lol! It was good for a nostalgia moment but will be replaced immediately.
