Avis to close Radisson location

Dave - Avis is going to locate on the East side of A!A - they will be between Bagel Paradise and Great Fireworks and then there is "Beach Plaza" where the Perfect gift is located - They will be EXALTY one and one quarter mile South from the Radisson - there is no close motels really expect maybe Holiday Inn Express, but there is a big Publix going right beside them and condos in the back so the view and traffic is going to be very questionable. As there is answers needed and as long as I am around - I will do my darnest to get them for you Dave.

Shirley, you'd better prepare for lots of drop-in traffic. I can't imagine folks would be able to return their rental cars just a stone's throw away from you and not be able to not run over and say "hi".

BTW, would you let me know when that Publix opens... I'll definitely want to add that to my map.

It is so funny, because I really really wanted that lot where the produce stand use to be for the shop, but I knew I just couldn't swing it - when I saw the sold sign on it, I was wondering well I wonder who brought it - I didn't learn it was Avis until Venus told me yesterday and I was thinking duh - I can run over there and just say hi to the cruisers - I walk Tia (my little dog) around that block that is how close it is to the shop - I have never tried Avis to tell you the truth so I do not know about their charges, shuttles etc - I believe when I take Tia for a walk this week, will stop in there and see if they will take somethings into consideration - will let you know ok -------Dave as for Publix, I understand they will start soon on the demo. of what is there now - the entrance will face Sheppard Street not A1A which will face Holiday Inn Express - right next to the west side of Publix, condos are being built as we speak - so that area is really going to be conjested - you will have Durango's, Perkins, Day's Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Condos and then of course Our Savior's Church will be one half block from there so guess we will need the whole police force to direct traffic, but I really believe that once the dust gets settled it is going to be fine --I know Norm and I are thrilled about Publix - we can almost hang a rope from our condo to where publix is going and slide down - if we were about 55 years younger --maybe?

Mr. Ed, you have no idea how important knowing about this is to us.

I saw this yesterday. We're leaving for WDW in a couple of hours and would have had no clue that the Radisson Avis office closed until we tried to drop off the car on Saturday before our cruise.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who let us know about this and provided the information that we'll need to get to their new location.
