Avis - Tell me your opinion?

I'm new to the Car Rental experience... just made online reservations with Avis using a corporate discount code.

Good or Bad?? I keep freaking myself out that I am going to be in Orlando airport with 2 kids and no car or a $$$$ rental. First time jitters??

Yep, first time jitters. I have not rented from Avis, though I currently have a reservation with them for next month in Phoenix. Avis is a very well know rental car company and I have no worries at all.

I almost always rent from Avis and have had no problems. I've been using them for over 25 years. BTW, they are owned by the same company which owns Budget. The two companies often share cars at their locations. An interesting tidbit, but it won't affect your rental at all.

Avis is pretty solid. As long as the corporate rate you're using is one that you can document, you should have no problems.

Depending on how good your corporate rate is, Avis tends to be more expensive than others, so you might also take a look at some of the other on-airport rental companies and see how their rates stack up vs. your Avis rate.
