avis rental at port

could someone tell me how it works. I will be staying at the radisson the nite before. There is five of us, so do we rent a car at the airport and than drop off at avis get a ride to hotel than does hotel transport us to port. Than how do we get our car at avis when we return...I am confused, anybody that has done this before could you please give me your advice.

I just did this a couple of weeks ago. Easy to do...First off, Avis is a room kind of hooked on to the Radisson. Depending upon the time you arrive, the office may be closed.

You leave your car parked anywhere on the Radisson property, write down the mileage, and then take this info to Avis.

Both Avis and the Radisson have shuttles running on Saturday morning, and I didn't think that the wait was very long.

Avis is at the Rad... u drop car at hotel it would go like this
rent car at MCO drive to the rad/avis drop car... check in
next morning get shuttle to the port... when u get to the rad
u must sign up for the shuttle to the port the next morning
since u r renting from avis would also check with them about taking shuttle over next morning.... since they r going over also
we ended up taking avis shuttle not the rad shuttle witch r at the same place however.......
and after the cruise look for avis shuttle or rad shuttle back to hotel to get a car and head back to MCO....

Get car at airport......drive to Radisson/Avis (Avis desk is at the hotel!).....p , try to sleep , next day, take either the radisson or avis shuttle to ship! After cruise, tell porter who gets your luggage that you are going to Avis/Radisson and he will take you and your bags to that shuttle......voila!

We have done this 4 times already....we found the easiet thing to do is pick up the car at MCO on Friday, drive to the Radisson, enjoy thep pool, etc.

On Saturday morning, we go for breakfast and then fill up the car with gas. We then drop most of the people and all of our luggage at the port (only a mile or so away) at about 10:30 or so, so we can get the luggage and ourselves checked in. Hubby takes the car back to turn into Avis and then hops on the shuttle back to the ship, Trying to load all the people and the luggage into the shuttles is hard sometimes. That's why we prefer to drop the luggage at the port ourselves. Just make sure the driver has his cruise docs and I.D. so they will let him back into the terminal.

The rest of us are already in line and all he has to do is check himself in and join us in line!!! Then we wait for the Magic to begin!!!
