Avis Rate Rules - Very confused

When I put in my 1-day rental on the Avis Website, Sat Jan 18 to Sun Jan 19, the list of rates is returned with the following:

Rate Rules
Friday night stay is required.

I don't understand! I put in my dates as being over a Saturday night and it gives me this rate rule whether or not I use a code. Will Avis honor this rate or use this "rate rule" to pull a fast one on me at the counter?!?

Well, I sent my question to Avis and here is their reply:

Thank you for contacting Avis.

The rate quoted will be a valid rate if the system will let you book it.

Thank you for checking with Avis.

My suggestions:

1. Print screen their reply to your inquiry so you can bring along paper that shows what they said, if they ask at the MCO counter.

2. Book over the phone instead of via internet.

I take it there is no alternate rates showing on the screen for bookings not including a Saturday night. (If ths system plans a higher rate when you continue to book, don't confirm, or confirm anyway, whichever your choice is)
