Are there any codes out yet for December? We will need a rental car for 12/12-13 and 12/20. Last year we got a great deal with codes... it maybe too early right now.

I found this to be a good website for Avis codes: http://www.pcpages.com/rentalcodes/avis.html

We are renting 11/6 - 11/8 and 11/15 - 11/16 and I found the Sears code to be the lowest.

You acess it through the Sears.com website. In the box on the left side click on specialty shops and then on Avis car rental.

Hope it helps. We are renting a minivan and it was by far the best rate we found.

Avis has a free day on a weekly rental and one for a free car seat.
Alamo has a free day and one for 15.00 off any rental.
Budget has 20.00 off a weekly rental and 15.00 off a 3 day rental.
Dollar has a one car class upgrade and an extra 10% off time and mileage.
Hertz has a double upgrade and up to 20.00 off
National has 15.00 off a weekly rental and one for a one car class upgrade.
And, because I just love all you people to pieces, I even picked up extra coupons.

No, you don't need a sears card to secure reservation. You just use their link and their code.

We got a great deal. Since we are using van before/after cruise, we didn't qualify for any weekly rates, so this was best for us.
