Hi guys,

Well, we are finally just a couple days away from our trip! I am just sitting here fine tuning my itinerary. Since I made some changes to some park days, I realized that now I might not have enough time to make it from my 7:15 Chef Mickey ADR to RD at Epcot. :guilty: Originally we were touring MK that day and it would have worked out fine, but I overhauled the itinerary and the park changes overall make much more sense, but now this.

So how long typically do you spend at a character meal? This is a breakfast for 5 of us. Any tips that might get us to RD on time?

Thanks!!

Kelly

I would say to plan on about an hour. It depends on how quickly the charracters make it to your table. We have been out of Crystal Palace before in 45 minutes when we were one of the first tables they stopped at. You still might make it to Epcot by RD.
You can hop on the monorail at Contemporary and transfer to the epcot monorail at the TTC. It shouldn't take too long. If you are going to be driving I would just park at the TTC before breakfast and leave the car there. If you are taking Disney transportation then you won't have to worry about it. Hope that helps.:goodvibes

Last year we spent about 45 minutes for Breakfast for Chef Mickey's. Since it is a buffet you can get your food fast. The biggest thing would be waiting for the characters to make it around to your table. They seemed to go around a bit slower during our breakfast than at the dinner we had there.

I do agree with the monorail idea.........That would be the best bet and probably get you there the fastest, especially if you are driving and have to fight traffic! Hope it works for you!

Thanks so much guys!

We will be using the monorails (staying at the Poly) and the transit time according to OLP is 34 minutes total. I hope we can make it!!

Yep, 45 to an hour is about right. Take longer and they haunt you.

With Epcot it is not a huge deal if you miss RD by a bit, unless it was opening ceremonies you are after. If you miss it by 10 minutes you are not going to be at a huge touring disadvantage or anything like that.
