I am using avery transfer paper. Some of the images I printed out are white ex: Aladins shirt. When I go to iron that image on a blue shirt will Alladins shirt still be white or will the blue shirt show through?

are you using light transfers for this image? If so, if the image is white, Aladdin's top will be the color of the shirt on which you're placing the design.

(if you were using a dark Avery transfer, and the image is white, then Aladdin's top would be white.

I got Avery for light colored fabrics....so i should only use these on a white shirt? correct? And if i want to iron on a colored shirt I must get dark transfers?

well, you "could" use a colored shirt; however, if you do, everything that's white will turn clear when ironed on so you'll pick up the colors of the shirt color you're using

Here's an example of how it will look -

You may or may not like the look. I didn't care for the results as it made everything look not as sharp in this design.

Here's another example of using a colored shirt and a light (btw AVERY) design

Mickey's outline was supposed to appear white; however, it became clear which made his outline pick up the color pink from the shirt. Also, you might be able to see the outline of the light transfer especially on the wording under the pix - to me it looks like I put scotch tape on the pix.

I used transfers for dark shirts today.... part of the transfer was a white baseball.... and i put it on a red shirt and it looks like the red bled through.

I had the color bleed through onto the white transfer also. I believe it happened from ironing too long. Since I have tried to iron for a shorter time it has not happened.

that would be my guess as well. ironed too long.
