Average Wait Times- Recent Trip Reports?

Awesome news about the wait times! Hope the trend continues- we arrive 8/3 so there's still time for things to change but I think even if it does it won't be as hectic as WDW felt.

Bummer about the pretzel situation but we have lots of dining reservations so I think if there's at least one or two places to get them it should be okay.

I keep reading those Fantasmic! return rumors on MiceChat and getting real hopeful! 🤞🤞🤞

I never saw a pretzel cart open nor did I see anyone eating any pretzels other than the giant one from Pyms. We got Wetzels pretzels twice in 4 days. The pepperoni twist pretzels are better than any Disney pretzel anyway.

We just went before the fireworks started. It was way better than with fastpasses! longest wait we had was on the line for boarding WEBSLINGERS and ROTR which have virtual queues lol Thinking of going back for the Holidays though as we have never been on a holiday.

Have been 7X since reopening day, with the most recent visit last weekend. I hope Disney keeps the current operating system. 10-12 rides a day, could do more but really enjoying the amazing DLR atmosphere. More food and attractions open every day. It's a dream.

Right??? It is indeed a dream!! It is so chill.

I am here today. It’s very crowded and the wait times are so much longer than when I was here 6/7. On 6/7 we rode so many rides. We’ve been here since 9am and only ridden four rides (including Rise of the Resistance). We did also experience the train around noon (30 minute wait then; now at 5:30pm it’s a 60 minute wait). We also did the Tiki Room and rode the Mark Twain. I really hope the wait times drop a bit soon so we can experience more rides. I have a 6 year old so he’s not really capable of waiting in long line after long line. Rise took 30+ minutes to get to the preshow so he’s good on lines for a while lol. The ride times seem accurate today for what we’ve ridden.

Edited to add: our visit on 6/7 was truly a dream! We rode 15 rides and could have done more but had a 2 year old with us which slowed us down.

Today’s times:

Peter Pan: delayed opening. I was originally 4th in line but then everyone left despite telling the folks in front of me to stay. Was in an empty queue by myself for a while. Ride ended up starting around 8:25 and wait time quickly rose to 45 minutes. Great memory of being alone in a queue and it was nice and cool and shaded. Worth the wait.
Dumbo: 10 posted and actual
Alice: 15 posted, 17 actual
Canal Boats: 10 posted, 12 actual
Casey Jr: 10 posted, 18 actual
Pinocchio: just reopened, still listed as closed in app, walk on
Mad Tea Party: 5 posted, 8 actual
IASW: 15 posted and actual
Disneyland Railroad: 5 in app but was more like 15-20 due to just not making it on to the next train
Left for break, nap, dinner
Little Mermaid: posted 5, walkon
Web Slingers: Was recovering from significant downtime as my group was called about 2 hours later than originally quoted. Huge, snaking outdoor queue that goes on and on. Would have been absolute heck in the sun but I’m glad it was called when the sun was setting. 80 minutes to the preshow.

Wait times today seemed higher than yesterday. But I managed just fine. Fantasyland seems to be more likely to have somewhat accurate or under posted times, but it wasn’t crazy.

Today’s times:
First on Snow White, walk on
Snow White again: nothing posted in app/board, actual 10. Eventually posted 10 when near end of line.
Mr. Toad: 5 on app, 10 on board, actual 3
Pinocchio: 5 posted, walkon
Mad Tea Party: 5 posted, walkon
Matterhorn: 20 posted, did single rider and waited 3 minutes
Buzz: 5 posted, walkon
Space: posted 45, actual ???, did single rider and waited 3 minutes
Tiki Room: walk right in
Mark Twain: wait 10 minutes for the next sailing
Break, exploring, streetmosphere
Little Mermaid: 5 posted and actual

I was there June 27-29, and the wait times were the best I've ever seen, except maybe back when I was a local AP and went on a random weekday in 2013 or so (before high crowds became so constant). We never waited longer than 30 min for anything except ROTR at the end of the day when it had been broken down for several hours in the afternoon. And even 30 min was rare. The wait times were almost always overstated, as has been said. We rode TSMM with a posted wait of 45 and only waited 25 minutes. If this trend continues, it is a really good time to go.

I know this off topic for my initial question but are the pretzel stands all open yet or is there still just one?

I didn't see any pretzel stands when I was there, but if you want to get the pretzel at Pym (which is delicious) without the hassle, do a mobile order for breakfast! We got a pretzel and the french toast to split for breakfast (hey, when on vacation...) within the first hour, and it wasn't crazy or crowded there at all. I put the rest of the pretzel in a gallon size ziplock in my backpack and we snacked on it throughout the rest of the day.

ETA: I think you're right - there is one stand open somewhere. We saw people with pretzels at DL. We just never saw the stand.

I've been curious watching the app and wondering if it is accurate. Are the waits for the Railroad actually consistently at 30 and 60 minutes?

This was accurate on 7/6. We waited 30 minutes around noon and later when it said 60 minutes the line looked about twice as long.

Watching the app, this week wait times seemed to have shot up considerably. A week ago it seemed that times were busy earlier, then waned as the day went on, but recently it seems consistently crazy busy from about 10:00 - on. Even the rides that are usually easy to get on, have long posted waits.
