Average time for Mears??

Considering taking Mears since it will just DD and myself. I'm just concerned about how long it will take??? It would save us $40.00 to take Mears instead of a towncar...but it has been so long since I've used Mears that I can't remember the time frames to see if it is worth it. Thanks!!!

Will effect the time it will take you,we stay at OKW and it's been 5 years since we used Mears.That time it took about 45 min. about 15 to load van and 30 min to OKW.We were first stop several were still on van to be dropped off at other resorts.We use Tiffany now not because Mears is bad,we just like Tiffany with grocery stop better.

Mears is hit or miss... sometimes you'll have to wait for the van or bus to load... other times, you'll get on, and they'll leave. Soemtimes you'll be the first stop, other times you'll be the third.

Way back when we used to use Mears because we didn't know about the alternatives, it never took us less than an hour. We had a talent for always being at the very last hotel on the route.

Thats my problem....I can't remember. I use to use them long before I found these boards....it is just 2 of us so it is $50.00 as compared to $90.00 ......

As you can see, the time for Mears to get you from the airport to your resort varies so much that the average time is a useless piece of information.

Generally you must be ready to board the shuttle to get back to the airport 4 hours ahead of flight time.

Mears has always told me 3 hours prior to flight time anytime I book a return shuttle for a guest.

Mears, Disney, and any other transportation company in Orlando will always recommend getting to OIA at the very LEAST two hours before your flight.

Scheduling the shuttle 3 hours prior to flight allows for travel time (30 mins from Disney to Airport), and time to another resort, if there are still other stops.
