So we're heading out in a few days and we're doing some last minute "tweaking" to our budget. We're planning on bringing in lunch stuffs (is that ok to do? We're not talking coolers but a few sandwiches and fruit in a backpack or something). What I'm curious about is the price of drinks or other quickie snack foods.

Fries?
Cookie?
That yummy looking Dole Whip dealy I see everywhere?

Anyhelp would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

You can certainly bring in sanwiches :) Just no glass bottles.

Snack type foods can range from a couple of dollars to $5 or so. I like the fresh fruit stands. Churros can be yummy at night, and I think the Bengal bbq skewers are really yummy protein pick me ups!

Yeah you should have no problems bringing in a few snacks, so long as you don't bring in glass bottles. You can check out food pirces by going to www dot dlresortinfo dot com. Click on the left hand tab "Disneyland Menus" to get ideas on prices for food.

THANKS!
That is so helpful! And I totally appreciate the heads up on glass. Didn't know that!

We have taken snacks and drinks each time we have went, We usally freeze a couple bottles of water at the hotel and then pack the snacks and water in. When we were there it was $ 2.79 for a bottle of water, so taking that in was a big money saver.

Regarding water, you can also just ask for a cup of water (or ice water) anywhere.

And as a specific example, Rancho del Zocalo has a water spout where you could refill a bottle of water, on the "cart" in the outdoor seating where you can pick up salsa and napkins.

We usually take our own water bottles in too. Sometimes snacks but we haven't yet taken in sandwiches. You can though, just take them already fixed and you'll be fine.

Churros are $3, but that's all I can remember accurately. Dole Whips are around $5 and the ice cream bars are about the same.....they may be a bit more, around $6. Sorry.....I should know that but we just buy it and enjoy.

Popcorn is about $5 for a bucket. Just a heads up: If you are not interested in collecting the bucket, avoid Disney popcorn. It's HORRIBLE! I either pop my own and fill up a ziplock or put it in my own bucket, or go to Downtown Disney and get GOOD Kettlecorn at a cart. A large usually lasts a family of 4 most of the day. The Disney popcorn tastes like the pre-popped stale bag-0 popcorn you get from Smart and Final. GROSS!!
As for the price of snacks and meals. Snacks cost an ARM and Meals costs an ARM and a LEG.

LOL--different strokes for different folks--I actually LOVE Disney popcorn (when it is hot!)
