Average lunch/dinner hours?

I looked around and couldn't find the answer to this. Are there average hours that the resturaunts are open for lunch/dinner? More to the point...when does lunch end and dinner begin? We plan to have one large meal a day, and we prefer do that around 2ish. Would that typically be a lunch or dinner menu? Thanks!

2:00 at most would still be lunch. Most restaurants run lunch from about 11:30/12:00 to 3:00/3:30. It does vary, but I think about 2:00 you'll definately be paying lunch prices.
