hey, my gf was thinking of wanting our wedding to be somewhere in St. Louis, Missouri. There are some nice places but I was thinking that why not look at WDW, but I was wondering what the avg price is??? So I know a rough estimate.

Hello Adam :)

Honestly, it depends on how many people you would be having and how extravagent you would like to make the ceremony, reception, etc... Intimate weddings are really cheap (I think about 5k starting) while the sky is the limit with custom weddings... I am working with a budget of about 75k (recently raised from 55!) but we have about 100-120 people who will be attending.

Your best bet is to create a wishbook on www.disneyweddings.com and go from there.. The website allows you to see an estimated cost of a few things so you can get an idea of what the day would cost you :) There are a lot of extras that are no on the site such as a dessert party, so also know that what you are seeing on the webpage is only a fraction of what WDW has to offer.. You should also contact a representative at WDWW so that you can ask any other questions and if you are serious about the Disney wedding you can book a planning session for the next time you are there.

Good luck and let us know how everything goes!

What I can tell you is that we looked at doing ours locally, and also in my mom's town where I grew up and they both came out to be about the same as the WDW wedding (maybe $1000-$2000 less.) In my mind, that minimal difference sealed the deal for us. You will have a little more in travel expense, but I think it's SOOOOO worth it!!

PS We are currently planning our Custom wedding for around 40 guests and our total is going to be around $17000-$18000 (including our honeymoon) if that helps at all.

Hi, we are having a custom w/ about 60 people, and our budget is 20k. If you are trying to cut costs (like most of us are), the wonderful people on this board will give you helpful money saving tips. I think a Disney wedding can be magical, no matter what your budget :)

The intimate packages are very affordable to me. Our wedding package, which included a week stay (our honeymoon) at a moderate resort, upgraded photo package, dinner reception for 17 guests, plus towncars for everyone's departure after the reception was under $5K.
