I just got back from seeing Avatar.

Wow! What a surprise! I loved it!
Honestly, I was NOT looking forward to seeing it, I'd seen the adverts and all and just didn't care :confused3

Wow was I wrong. It was action packed, it was emotional, it was powerful, and it had strong political commentary.

I want to be on Pandora, I want to be part of the Na'avi.

This is was a terrific movie A++++.

Anyone else seen it? I HIGHLY recommend it, even to skeptics like I was!

My mom and brothers are going next week. I opted out. I have no interest in it. I'm going to see Alvin&the Chipmunks the 'squeckual' (sp?) instead ;)

Bad choice in my book. :confused3

I thought I'd hate the movie, I was only going for the political side of it, America and the world once again taking what's not ours.

But it was so much more than that.

My uncle saw it, he said it was amazing

I'll probably watch see it when it comes out on DVD

To me, it was an excellent theater movie, especially in RealD. RealD made it feel like you were actuall yon Pandora.

Its a long movie ('bout 2hrs, 45 min), but it didn't feel long at all.

My friend went to see it and said it was amazing. I haven't heard any bad reviews of it.

I was a skeptic when I first heard about it, wasn't interested. Now that everyone is loving it, I want to go see it.

trust me, this film is not meant for the small screen. it will not be the same. really needs to be seen big screen and 3-d.

I completely agree!
I could feel the explosions in my seat, and I felt like I was ON Pandora.

Totally go see it! :yay:

LOVED IT! I wasn't expecting it to be that good, but it was very good.

My only problem was that they marketed it to people as if it was a Last Airbender movie, when it wasn't. They even used the same font for the logo! Of course everyone is going to think it's the Last Airbender, and they're going to be disappointed when it's not... it's very confusing! I even thought it was at first, until I read a review of the movie.

I don't think they marketed it like that at all, but I knew what it was about from watching trailers and the marketing on Bones.

I think it looks amazing! I can't wait to see it.

I don't have any interest in seeing this movie, but happy you had a great time. :)

I'm going to see it tomorrow with my boyfriend! I can't wait =D

From the previews, the na'vi remind me of something that's part night elf, part draenei.. xD

Awesome awesome movie. I saw it with my girlfriend last night and it was definatly an all around everyone movie. It had a GREAT love story for the girlies, big explosions for the guys and just an excellent movie all around. Plus the animation and colors were simply incredible. I went in expecting a cool sci fi flick, but it defiantly felt like a more naturey type of movie. It was incredible, and people with doubts should do them selves a favor and just go see it. Its awesome.
