Avatar, Toy Story, Star Wars...expansion question

Hi all,

I have only been to WDW once and planning a second trip for Feb 2017. I'm on the boards a lot for Disneyland but not WDW so I apologize if this is a repeat question but was just curious if anyone knows then these new "lands" are scheduled to open?

Depending on which one I think its 2017-2020.

It would be a miracle (an awesome one) if anything for the new lands were open by Feb. 2017. Maybe Avatar (I have no idea on its current progress) .. but I doubt Star Wars or Toy Story (at least fully).

Avatar is supposed to open in 2017, Im not sure the month. I could be wrong on this, but I believe Star Wars is supposed to be 2020 and TS is supposed to be sometime between those two (2018?)

Avatar sometime in 2017 (hopefully) and as for the other two, let's just say that Avatar was originally announced in 2011 soooooooo possibly as late as 2021. Hopefully Toy Story will be a bit sooner.

Avatar I'm guessing will follow NFL expansion. It will be open for holiday 2016 or if they are behind early 2017 since we saw the scale model and ride information this year at D23.

Toy Story I think is going to be a quick and easy one and we will probably see it open around 2018 with most of the down and dirty details coming at the 2017 D23.

Star Wars If I had to bet I would say not before 2020. We will get another sneak peak in 2017 and then the final details in 2019.

With that time line they are staggering new offerings across 5 years which would keep people coming back.

Avatar sometime in 2017.

As Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land were just announced I wouldn't expect to see Toy Story until 2018 at the earliest and Star Wars maybe 2020 if we are lucky.

I think part of me still is hopeful it'll happen in the earlier part of 2017 with soft opening in late 2016.

Thanks everyone! I knew Toy Story and SW were way off, but was curious about Avatar. Kind of hoping it opens after we are there.
