Avatar land

Anyone know what month Avatar land is supposed to open next year? I'd love to know so I can book a bounce back when I'm there in October. Dh is a huge avatar fan and he already said we can go back after this years trip when avatar land opens.

The latest rumor is "Early 2017" - whatever that means. I don't know what kind of time frame is allowed for the bounceback offer, but I would personally book as far out as I could, and then watch the boards for updates on how things are looking. To some degree you're gambling, and might have be open to canceling the trip if Pandora won't be open in time.

animal kingdom tends to open new attractions on or near earth day, however you never know what kind of delays they could incur with a project that huge

Don't book any trip based on Avatarland being open.

Book when Disney announces a firm date, then add a couple months.

Besides when it does open, it's going to be PACKED!

I've never even seen the movie and I want to see this money pit.
