Available rooms with AP discount

So I had YC-CL and AKL pool view booked in may with 40% off pin.... Then the AP rate came out.

They changed my YC with CL... Then I asked to change my AKL to CL and they said it wasn't available with the rate. So if I would have booked it club level with my pin... Would it have worked? Anyone have a situation like this?

If the room type was available at the time with the discount code, yes. Not all room types are always avail with codes/discounts. We have 2 woods view at WL booked with the 40% off PIN, when the ap 45 % off came up, I called the first day and no woods view at all. I have checked the PIN and even the GP codes nothing for when we are going Feb 5-12. So it all depends on what you want and if it's in the code. ONly the bunk bed rooms have been avail when I checked. That was my experience. Just so you know sometimes if you change just a day or two, the dates, roomtype is avail.
