Does anyone know if member services can book 2 rooms of the same type at once, or do they have to book one room and then check to see if the 2nd room is then available to book it?

Thanks

AFAIK, they have to book one at a time, just like we do.

I agree - afaik it's one at a time for them just like us. It's been awhile since I've even bothered with them for that since online opens an hour earlier.

You can have 2 people book online at the same time and get an hour jump on calling MS.

Only if you have two separate log-in accounts. If you use the same account to search for two rooms, your first search will become invalid.

Also...MS can see how many rooms are available, which we can't see on the website...and they can do a "partial booking" (i.e., just the one name and then book; then villa two w/one name and then book...and then go back and fill in add'l details (add'l guests, dining plan, requests, etc.)...so yes it's one at a time, but they can see how many villas there are which lets them decide whether they need to do "very fast minimal" booking to make sure both rooms can be booked...
