Availability Halloween weekend???*Update,made ressies*

We could not pass up the good airfares and so just booked $100 RT on JetBlue for a long weekend in October.

I am dying waiting until tomorrow morning to call MS to see what is available. Our first choice is a 2BR at VWL. My question is has anyone booked recently for VWL in Oct? Did you have to waitlist?
Also, should I take whatever DVC resort I can get and then could they waitlist me to see if VWL opens up?

Oh well, we're just excited we're going. We had decided we
couldn't really afford WDW this year but we just figure with that airfare that we can swing a quick trip. WOOHOO!!!

*Update*--for anyone else considering this weekend. The ONLY DVC resort with any 2BRs for Halloween weekend is OKW. So I confirmed us there and put us on a waitlist for VWL. I would prefer VWL but am excited for OKW if it doesn't come through.

I would take anything you can get and then waitlist. We booked 11 months ago at the BCV and had a hard time getting our last 2 days, Halloween weekend. You have to remember this is also the Epcot food & wine festival. Take anything and then hope for the best. Maybe we'll see you there, we will be there Oct 22 - Nov 1 st
