Availability during F&W

My husband and I will be able to book our DVC fall trip in 10 business days (as soon as our resale is posted on the Disney system). We would love to travel this Fall to F&W. We must go on a weekend but have flexibility as to which one. Just curious if anyone's been talking to member services about F&W ressies and what they've found in terms of availability. We'd prefer one of the Epcot resorts (probably wishful thinking) but WLV (our home resort) would do as well...Any feedback would be appreciated...

We originally wanted to go 11/4-11/10, but couldn't get a 1 bdrm at BWV or BCV. I decided to go one week earlier (the first week of November is Jersey Week and that weekend is also Super Soap Weekend on top of F&W), so I called and was able to get BWV for 10/28-11/3. I waitlisted for BCV and got it the very next day. This was just last week, so you may still be able to get something. Good luck!!

Thanks for that info - that gives me some hope...is there any correlation between whether the WDW homepage shows available DVC villas at a resort and availability for members?

Nope...completely separate inventory.

You may have to waitlist, but since weekend nghts book more slowly than weekday nights, I think you have a pretty good chance of getting something at BWV, especially if you are flexible with your dates and are willing to waitlist.

Don't wait 10 business days to call MS. If it were me, I'd call MS once a day starting in about a week. It's possible (but not guaranteed) you will be added sooner than the 10 business days they quote. Explain that you just purchased a resale - the CMs can look you up by SSN if you don't have a member number.

Book what you can when you call and don't be afraid to waitlist for BCV or BWV if that is what you really want.
