Autumn what do you like and loathe about it?

I loathe having to get up in the dark, it's so much harder to get out of bed.
I love having a warm towel when I get out of the shower, we have turned our heating on already as it's been so cold the past couple of nights.


So what do you like and loathe about autumn?????????

I hate the dark nights - I take my daughter swimming 3 nights a week and already it's dark when we come out of the baths and it's just miserable!

I LOVE the autumn fashions - the colours etc
It takes a lot for me to feel warm in this country so I love it now I can wear jumpers and not have people commenting!

I hate the darkness, dark when I get up and dark far too early in the evening.

I love the changing colours of the trees, we live in a beautiful part of the country and Autumn makes my surroundings so picturesque.

I hate the dark mornings. Getting up early is bad enough in the summer but when it's dark outside its so much worse.

My favourite part about this me of year is the food. I love having a homemade bowl of soup or something yummy out o my low cooker

I hate the clocks going back, why don't they stop doing that ..
Hate wet soggy dark mornings, also going to work in the dark, coming back home in the dark.

I'm not enjoying Autumn at all this year. I'm hating the cold, the dark mornings and evenings and most of all those horrendously large spiders that come out around this time of year

Generally I'm just fed up of the rain! We've had constant rain over the past 3 days now and given we had such a wet summer, i'm sick of it.

I also hate the dark mornings/ nights autumn brings but on the plus side, autumn also brings my WDW holiday!! ;-)

I love wearing jumper - I hate not wearing sandals
I love the damp smells - I hate the rain
I love not being woken by a 4am dawn chorus - I hate that it's dark by teatime
I love the warming foods - I hate the calories a lot of it contains

But mostly I find it a sad season with lots of changes especially with my kids - go to school - change school - leave school - go to university. And with winter coming next there's not a lot to look forward to until after the winter solstice when the days start getting longer again.

I like that is is my birthday- and also approaching Christmas.

I HATE the cold, rainy weather. HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!
I also find it annoying that Xmas products come out in the supermarket late August when I am still trying to forget Autumn is coming.
Also, I hate wearing trousers and jeans and coats and scarves and still being cold. I vastly prefer wearing dresses, shorts and teeshirts, and sandals and flip flops.

I hate the dark mornings and I hate the dark evenings and I hate the gloomy weather and having to wear a coat to go out. I hate the clocks going back. I hate it when Christmas stuff starts appearing in the shops in the Autumn.

In fact ... there is only one thing I do like about autumn and that is Halloween and this year we are spending it in Disneyland Paris
