Autopia with two kids?

I will be at the parks in August with a 4- and 6-year-old. We have 4-day park hopper tickets. My husband is busy at a conference and will only be with us one day out of those four (with a park hopper ticket), as well as one afternoon (one park only, probably California Adventure).

I am trying to remember if it's possible to fit in one adult and two kids into one of the Autopia cars. My kids are tall, but not tall enough to fit the "ride by yourself" height requirement. In the past, we used to do it with the hubby early in the morning on the day that he was going to join us, but we're probably going to be at cars land on that morning instead. I do remember the Autopia lines getting much longer as the day progresses, so I'm wondering if I can do the ride on one of the other mornings with just me and both kids. Any ideas about or experiences with this?

I'm pretty sure you can fit with 2 kids.

When took the family in 2009 I had by 2 boys ages 3 and 5 with me and was a easy fit. They wouldn't let my boys drive if I remember correctly. They were sad about that.

One time my 3 year old fell asleep during the ride and the CM mentioned to make sure I kept him awake during the ride or he couldn't ride.

My oldest has driven since she was 4....maybe because there was another child in the car?

It should be no problem with two kids. Two adults and a child will fit unless the adults are quite large.

That's odd; DS has been steering since he was 3. I hold down the gas pedal, and he steers. (and now he can just about hold the gas pedal down on his own, sniffle sniffle!)

Yes, you can fit two kids in the car. I just did this with an 8 & 6 year old. They can drive (as in steer, pedal), but they aren't quite tall enough to go themselves.
