Automatic Log-off

Not exactly new, but a technical question about the board, so I guess this is where it goes -

Quite often, I have started a reply, then had to leave the computer briefly - only to come back, finish the post, and be told I am not logged on.

I assume the board logs you off for security reasons if you stop typing for too long - but in a mom's world, you have to stop a lot!

Does anyone know how I can reset my ID to wait a little longer before automatically logging off?

That's weird. I've left myself logged in since I joined last September b/c I'm on so frequently. I also forget to log off each time.

That's weird. I don't think I've ever logged off. Mostly because when I try, it won't let me.

That used to happen to me until I checked the "Remember me" box when logging on. Now, anytime I come to this board I'm already logged in and it never logs me out like it used to. Give that a try and see if it helps
