They sure do! I just happen to have my daughters Universal Studios Woody autograph book here on my desk and she has autographs from Scooby Doo and Shaggy , Woody, Popeye, Olive Oil, Betty Boop, Eliza, Shrek, Tommy,The Cat In The Hat, Thing 1 and 2, The Man With The Yellow Hat, Curious George, Jimmy Neutron, Princess Fiona, Spiderman, The Grinch and a few others that I can't quite make out. There are many more that she didn't get. They were pretty good about forming a line for pictures and autographs but there were always a few people that didn't understand that concept
There were alot of characters in IOA in the Comic Strip area and in the Studios near Nickelodeon. HRH had a Character dinner (sorry-can't remember the name of the restaurant) with Scooby Doo and Woody Woodpecker.
sometimes you can get autographs and pictures with characters from shows. This goes for the Extreme Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue.
I must admit though that I got really peeved at the Ghostbusters yesterday who wouldn't stop because "no one was down there." Initially I had said I was, but I had forgotten to mentioned JessicaR and her family were there too. What if her two sons wanted autographs from the GBs (no, I'm not saying they would, but "what if?") Again later that day, JessicaR and I were waiting so she could get her picture with them and so was an adorable little boy. You should have seen the look on the kid's face when the GBs car drove passt without stopping. The sound guy had to radio them back. I mean, I don't know what they do when they aren't doing the show, but you'd think they'd have time to stop for autographs...even if it's only one person Sorry...just venting a little.
