Autographs

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes...

I didn't want the hassle of my dd getting autographs, but I figured if we're going to see characters anyway, why not? Plus, when she sees other kids getting them.... you know how it goes.

So, I wanted to do something unique instead of autographs on blank pages, and I looked around online and found some neat ideas. I think I would like to find a picture book that has as many characters as possible and have them sign by their pictures. If I can't find that, I'll probably make my own book.

Does anyone know of a book that might work well for this? Thanks!

I am making a book for my dd and used a 6 by 8 scrapbook I got from my local craft store. If you go over to the creative community boards and ask your question you will be a host of great answers! The people on that board have been very helpful to me.

Maybe you can have some of the characters sign dvd's that they are in

I don't know it personally, but apparently there's a book called Disney's Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters: Including Characters from Your Favorite Disney Pixar Films. It sounds like it might be what you're looking for. It's pretty big though, about 200 pages, but it does include Disney trivia which might make it a keeper.

An alternate idea if that book's too heavy: maybe there's a Disney poster with most of the gang that you could have characters sign and then hang it up in DD's room?

I was just looking at that book on Amazon. It's on sale. I wish it would let me look inside of it.

Oohh, and I just thought of another idea. Maybe they could sign a t-shirt?

I thought of this because during one of my first trips to WDW, Robin Hood used my back as a stable signing surface. He could have easily been signing my t-shirt. It might be a fun way to interact with the characters, not that you would wear the t-shirt that was being signed at that time...you'd run out of signable space!
