Autographs at restaurants

I just read somewhere that characters will no longer be signing autographs at characters meals. Has anybody else heard this? I really hope this isn’t true it would really be harder to justify the cost for me

When they were testing them not signing they were still giving autograph cards out FWIW

Sometimes they do just give out autograph cards as opposed to actually signing, but I think that is more for the characters who have a hard time signing (due to bulky costumes or what not). I know we have received a few at times, just can't quite remember all the circumstances (maybe it was just the testing, but I didn't think that was it).
