Autographs at Disney on Ice

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but I didn't know where else to put it.

Just out of curiousity, are you allowed to/has anyone ever obtained autographs and/or personal photographs with the characters at Disney on Ice? (Not referring to photographs taken during the show itself!)

We went in Dec. and I never saw the characters anywhere but on the ice.

Nope, you don't see the characters anywhere but the ice when I was there. They did have some cardboard things you could get your pic taken with - they were kind of expensive though.

We've gone to both Disney on Ice and Disney Princess' on Ice and there is no opportunity for photos/autographs with the characters. They are only out there while they are skating. They do have set ups to get your photo taken in the lobby, but not with real people! I don't know how much the photos cost...I'm thinking a lot because a cotton candy with a cheapo crown is $10.

My thoughts exactly. I don't understand who would pay that much to stand next to cardboard. Now, if they had an actual costumed character to stand next to, they might sell more pictures.

They had a Princess pre-show when we saw the Worlds of Fantasy show. We got to see Cinderella and Tiana, but they were up on a small roped off platform and all you could really do was walk by and wave and try to get a picture of the kids with the princess in the background.

Just saw Nemo on Ice on Wed night. No signings there either. Disney has the most expensive cotton candy thoguh. This is the second Disney event we went too and are amazed the prices they sell this stuff for. And evidently the arena isn't allowed to sell the stuff that Disney sells, so no popcorn or cotton candy was sold at the arenas vendors during it.
