Autographs at Character Meals?

I saw some older threads about this topic, but nothing that recent. So my question is how does the whole autograph thing at character meals work, specifically at Akershus (Lunch) and Cinderella's royal table (Lunch). Thanks!

The princesses move around and when they get to your table (they come over one at a time) you can take a pic and ask for them to autograph a book or shirt or I've seen some with picture frame mattes. And last we were there they had waffles.
