Autograph Question - Backpack

Trying to decide on what to bring, if anything, for autographs for our upcoming trip.

We’ve done the usual and I’m leaning towards bringing a white backpack for autographs.

Will the characters sign the backpack if it’s full of stuff? I’d rather not carry a backpack for them to sign in addition to my regular bag. If possible, I would just like to use the backpack to carry stuff and get autographed.

If yes, I would add something to it to keep the signing surfaces flat.

Maybe get one of those string back packs for your autographs. You can pack that into your main back pack easily. You can get a fun color too- maybe red like Mickey’s pants
Also that would be easier to sign, especially if you put a stiff piece of cardboard or a clipboard in it.

I would also caution you to try signing it with a sharpie yourself first, in an inconspicuous spot. My daughter had a hat signed once (not at Disney) and the weave was so coarse, the signature didn’t look nice.

I've been doing this for years. Typically I bring a canvas back pack, always filled with my stuff and of course a Sharpie. Characters love the back pack idea. I always get positive feedback especially when they see their signature from previous years. It makes for a great conversation piece too! Have fun and enjoy!

That is a good idea because if it didn’t work I would be sad.

And maybe I should sign it front and center! Or my kids should, lol.
