I thought about buying autograph books, pens and lanyards before we leave. I checked on ebay, but the pens don't look that "fat". How big does the pen need to be for the characters to be able to use. Also, we still have the autograph book from our last trip 3 years ago, I thought I might could just use the plastic cover and replace the notebook. Does anyone know where to look for notebook replacements that size? One more question, this is our first trip on property, where do you find the id holders that go on the end of the lanyards? Thanks in advance!:woohoo:

We took my twin step-sons last June and attended several character meals to assure we could get lots of autographs. We brought large index cards and regular size sharpie permenant markers. The characters mostly wear just regular hand size gloves and were able to grip the sharpie's just fine - but if you are concerned I know that they also make super-sized sharpie's as well. The large index cards seemed to be just the right size for the signatures, and I was able to put them easily into a scrapbook with a photo of the character with the boys. The black sharpie's print nice and dark without the character having to push very hard - and they could easily see what they had written - which seemed to be the larger challenge (seeing through the masks as they were signing).

Have a great time!!!:thumbsup2

Lots of the lanyards that you can purchase at the park have either bottle holders or pass-pockets on them already.

We use clickable sharpies. Characters love those. We also use the spiral bound index cards. That makes it easy to tear the page off later to use in a scrapbook or photo album opposite the pic of the child & character. Also the clickable sharpie has a clip so you can slide the pen in the spiral and clip it there. Very handy!:goodvibes

Thanks for this idea. I never thought of this. :)

We use super sharpies for the characters - think regular felt tip sharpie, but with a barrel that is double the diameter. They have them at Staples. Then the princesses got regular fine line sharpies, since they had better control.
