Autograph pages and copyright

I always print my autograph pages as 4x6 photos and then have them spiral bound. When I had them printed at Meijer today, they refused to sell them to me. They said it is copyright infringement. This is the 3rd book like this I have made and I haven't had any other issues. Anyone else ever have this issue? Have I been breaking the law all along and was just unaware?
