Other than the traditional autograph book - does anyone have any fun ideas for collecting autographs?

Last year I ordered drawstring bags for my kids and we have those all signed (WDW trip)...Looking for something simple/fun.

Thanks!

Someone in line at AP days had their white canvas hi top shoes signed by all different characters! It was a super cute idea.

We brought one of the Disney Storybook Collection books. We chose the Christmas one since we were visiting for the holidays.

Characters that had stories in the book signed the title page of their story, other characters signed the blank cardstock pages in the front of the book. It turned out really well, and it's something we'll see as we read together for years :)

Last year at WDW after countless trip and even more countless autographs books for our daughter, we had characters sign a long sleeve shirt with fabric markers. My wife did a great job coordinating who signed where...the big guys (Mickey, Minnie, etc) on the front, princesses on the back...that sort of thing.

She wore it on the plane ride home and loves it to this day.

I've seen someone have Mickey sign their Mickey Mouse hat with a silver sharpie. Thought that was a cool idea.

We used a Mickey vinylmation, this is with a day to go on the trip.

I should take some more pics!

Next trip I'm doing fabric squares and making a quilt out of them with a prints photo in the middle. (or paying someone to make it for me cause I cant quilt).

We use the illustrated Disney encyclopedias which has a page for each major character. The characters sign wherever there is a blank spot and then I put the date and where we met them. My kids are little (almost 5 and 2) so sometimes characters we meet are their first exposure and they haven't seen the movie. Whenever we see a new movie they get very excited and ask if we "know" them and they hurry to flip through and check the book. There's also a brief blurb for each character which allows them to learn the gist. We do a new signature for each encounter (so, we have Minnie like 4 or 5 times with different dates) and if there isn't a page for the character they sign the inside cover. Every time we go to Disneyland I get asked by at least five people where we bought it (Amazon) and if it was expensive (it's not, around $15 each).

I made quilts for both of my kids. I had the characters sign blank squares. I found fabric with different Disney characters at a local fabric store and online and I used some of those squares too. I put a few pictures on squares as well. I sewed the quilt top but I sent it out to be quilted to the backing. They came out very nice. I do not quilt well enough to offer to help you though, I'm sorry. But I wanted to let you know that these were the first quilts that I ever made and if I can do it, you can do it! :)

Is it missing a lot of the newer characters?

Thank you! I may give it a try, but that is not my strong area that's for sure! I actually have a quilting lady... Wow that sounds crazy!

When my mom passed I took some of her clothes and had them made into a quilt for my daughter (I was pregnant at the time).

Yes, it's up to Frozen, I think. It's from 2014. It has the vast majority of characters, though, and then on the front cover we do ones not in the book (Doc McStuffins, Zootopia characters, Louis from Princess and the Frog doesn't have his own page, Max (Goofy's son) doesn't have his own page) and it's cleanly laid out.

I have a friend who has a polaroid camera and she takes a photo of each character and has them sign it right after! It's very cute and she always gets really fun poses out of the characters for it.

Last week when we were there I saw a family who had a great idea that I plan to try on our next visit. They had a photo frame mat signed by the characters. Such a great way to frame your photos from the vacation. Here's a very inexpensive one on Amazon. I've already saved it on my wishlist :)
