Autograph Books

I read somewhere on this site that the characters that sign the books would prefer sharpie markers so they are easier to handle, I found a package of bic permanent marker color collection. Great buy, but I was wondering, won't the permanent markers bleed through the autograph book paper?? I was wondering if anybody knows this, I don't want to ruin the book by everything running together. Anyway Thanks!!

At just about every store inside the park they sell these giant pens about the size of your arm that are made just for character autographs. I wouldn't use a Sharpie, those pages are pretty thin. I think the pen was like $3.00, too.

Thank you so much for the tip. I figured the paper was too thin and the sharpies would bleed through, but I never know they sold pens in the gift shops like that. Thanks again!!!

Are the autograph books sold everywhere as well?

Yes, to my knowledge they are. If I remember correctly, we bought ours last summer in DTD.

i have made an a5 book for my ds and decorated it with disney characters. i have also bought a chunky permanent marker. i will be putting a piece of card under the page when its signed to stop the ink bleeding through.
