I would really like to have these in hand before we go in Sept., mainly so I can get them sitiuated in the kids waist packs. I know I can call the WDW merchandise phone # to buy them but is there a certain product # I need. Is there only one style? If I just say I want an autograph book, will that be enough? Or do I need to be more specific?

That should be all you need to tell them, you do pay a shipping fee of $8.95 I think it is, so oder everything at once. Autograph books are everywhere if you want to save the shipping. Resort gift shops and parks.

I hadn't panned on the $8.95 shipping fee. Maybe I'll just wait until we get there.

I wasn't aware that TDS sold autograph books. I'll have to check it out today. :)

I check at our Disney Store EVERY year...and they never have them. Told me that they don't carry them - and that the best place to get them is at our resort or in the park. :( I just make it a point now of buying it as soon as I check in - at our resort gift shop.

Six days and counting....:D

We bought them at the resort gift shop too, right after we checked in.

yup, id buy them when i got there cause they always want something anyway ,they get a kick out of picking em out anyways-and they are different at some of the resorts-so wait til ya get there!!!

While DH is checking in, we go to the resort gift shop and by the autograph books. It doesn't take long and the children get to look around.

The Pixies at Gifts of a Lifetime will send you autograph books as well as Guest of Honor badges. That way, you can really maximize your park time.

How old were your kids when you started getting autographs? Mine our now 4 and 5, we have gone the last 2 years and we only took pictures of them with the characters. Lots and lots of pictures at 5 different character breakfasts. I remember seeing a little girl I would say she was 2 year old last year scribbling right on top of one of the signatures that she had of a character. I remember thinking to myself that I would wait until my kids even realized what an autograph was! What is a good age in your opinions. We wil be going in 42 days.

This will be the first time for my kids to be collecting autographs. They are 6 and 8. Of course, they never really had an opportunity, they have only spent one day in MK on a previous short Florida trip. This will be their first real trip to WDW.

We went last year when DS was 4 1/2, and he collected 42 autographs in 4 days -- and it was his favorite part of the trip!
