Autograph books

HI! I'm leaving tomorrow!!!!

I have yet to get my kiddos their autograph books. Are there locations outside of the park that we can find them?

And to add to this- what pen/marker should I bring for the signatures? The last time we were there, Buzz Lightyear stamped his name, but I noticed that many characters had trouble with smaller pens.

You can find them in pretty much every gift shop on WDW property. I have never bought one in advance. I like clickable sharpies (but not the green ones. For some reason, green is impossible to get out of fabric.)

Pretty much anywhere in the Orlando/Kissimmee area will have autograph books. All the resort gift shops have the official Disney ones, and other stores in the area will have smaller, usually notebook style ones.

Clickable sharpies seem to be the best. They are large enough for the fur characters to hold onto, and there's no cap to lose. Plus the clicking makes it easier for the characters to handle the sharpie without marking themselves.

People who buy in advance- where do you find them outside the area of the parks? We're in Northern CA and want to get one pre-trip but they aren't readily available.

You can buy them on the internet. You'll pay more for them, though, so I've never understood why people do it.

In our case, it's because we're going in January and I want to make it part of a Christmas present.

Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Publix, pretty much any store will have them.

Walmart and Target will both have giant Disney sections in the very front that will be full of Disney merch - shirts, pins, lanyards, water bottles, autograph books, backpacks, anything you could possibly need for a Disney trip at a fraction of the cost. It might be a good idea to grab a few other things if you aren't picky about souvenirs being bought in the parks.

Sounds like you have a lead on the books.
My DD used a pen from one of the office stores that was thicker around the middle and had a giant plastic flower on the top. Seemed to be easy for the characters to hold, and all of the princesses loved it. DS isn't into flowers, so we got him a "big" pen from Target that had Mickey on it. Both pens were $1. I don't trust my kids with Sharpies.

If you have time to order it people pointed this book out to me and my daughter loved bringing it to disney for autographs.
