Looking for some insight on what autograph books are available to purchase at Disney World. Styles, prices, pictures etc.., I planned to make my girls theirs but we are now pushing 10 days to arrival. Do I rush out a craft project or buy on site??,

I usually buy one on site, they sell them in pretty much every big merchandise stores and in the hotel gift shops.

They have:

#1:the generic blue, Mickey & characters on the front, plain empty pages inside

#2 & 3:Princesses or Tinkerbell on the front with little designs inside (princess book is pink, tink is blue) with photo slots in it, this one's a little more pricey and doesn't have as many pages.

#3: a super big one full of mini princess stories with places for them to sign & pictures, this ones even more pricey.

I usually just go with the plain one, it's cheapest and has the most pages.

I say go with whatever the kids want when you get there, they can pick their own, and have some fun with it! (also note that the characters sign best with the thicker pens, easier for the hands to hold!)

While I do make mine, I would not want to do it under pressure so at 10 days out I would buy there and let the kids pick, as per the previous poster's suggestion.

As an aside, thus far, making my own books has always proven way more expensive than it would be to buy them there.

We preferred te princess one from te disney store to the ones in te park. The ones in the ark couldn't fit 4x6 pics....I had to trim each picture!

Thank you
Do you recall the price range? Low vs high?

In our past trips, I get my girls a hardcover Disney notebook. That way there are extra pages and when we are sitting down for dinner or waiting for a ride/bus the girls draw/doodle. It's fun to look back at what they had interest in over the years. For our last trip they were actually Disney diaries which the front cover lit up.

Put "disney autograph book" in to Etsy and you gets tons of different choices... We bought two personalized ones with Anna and Elsa for our daughters and then we purchased the Disney Junior almanac of amazon and brought it to staples,,, they took the binding off and put a spiral binding on and laminated the front and back... It came out great and has like every character in it for them to sign there names (plus great reading material for the plane)

Have you considered thinking outside the box?

Just throwing it out there, we are going to get the matte used in a picture frame and have the characters sign that and then insert a picture to hang on the wall. My girls have 2 autograph books and never look at them, so maybe this might be a cute thing on their wall. Or not, but it's worth a shot! :)

We will be there in 14 days and I can't freakin' wait! :)

I think I'm going to try a 8 1/2 x 11 canvas. Have the characters sign it then add a ribbon and hang it on the wall. It shouldn't be hard to carry in my backpack while in the parks.

That is a great idea!!

I got 4x6 index cards. My daughter drew pictures of characters on the cards during out trip down. We then took those drawings with us to the meet and greets. She would show characters the drawings and they would sign them. It gave them something to talk about. The characters would get really excited about them. We then took the signed pictures and could put them in a standard size photo album - opposite or beside the photo of her with the character.

Someone posted on our August facebook page that Dollar Tree had Princess autograph books. She posted a picture and they looked cute. I went today but my Dollar Tree didn't have them
