Does anyone know how much they run in the park? Do they generally only have one design?

There is one on Disneystore for 14.95. We wanted to give the kids one when we surprise them with the trip (since the first day in the park will be at Minnies). If they generally only have one type I'll just go ahead and buy the one off of Disneystore or maybe one of the ones people sell on etsy (as long as that doesn't make the characters grumpy :lmao: )

Thanks for any help :)

I've seen at least 2 at Princess Fantasy Faire. One that is autographs only, one that is autographs & a place to put your pictures. The autographs only one comes with a pen, I think.

Those are geared towards girls.

There should also be a blue one with the Fab 5 on it.

So, that's at least 3.

as of last week they had one with the pen, blue with Disneyland written across the front with all the characters. $14.95 ish

and a red one with pen with 2012 across the front.. $12.99 ish.

both of these had left side of page for photo in landscape form and on right side room for writing...

there were some other ones but we didnt look at those ones..

The gift shop in the DLH had about 5 different ones - a Tinkerbell and two others that were autograph only. They had two - a red one & a blue one (both with characters on them) that are autograph/photo books. I think the photo ones are $14.95 each - not sure about the other. I would assume the Emporium on Main St. would have all of these as well.

In my experience, characters are happy to see a unique photo book. I made one for my DD's 7th birthday trip (with some picts of her w/ characters from previous trips) and we got tons of nice feedback from the face characters (some even took time to browse the whole 20 pages) and we had a long look at it with the CM in the Tangled line (we were next when she took her break, so we were there at least 15 minutes).

I made my girls both custom 8x8 photo autograph books for our next trip. I watch for the free photobook offers that popup occasionally. :)

Thanks Nikki and DisneyJamie :) If I don't buy before I go I'm glad to know I can go over to the DLH!! I wasn't sure how to get them first otherwise!

Thanks Starshine! I didn't want to insult the park or anything LOL But I found a few cute ones on etsy. The photobook is a cool idea!

Don't they sell autograph books at the little stand right inside the gates (before you go thru the tunnel? I think this is where you would rent strollers etc too??

Possible..but I don't think they open early for MM's...we have first reservation of the day :\ I bet you're right tho..they probably do

Another option is the Disney Junior Encyclopedia of Animated Characters. It's about $16 on Amazon. We've been using the same book since DD1's first visit in 2009. Characters love to see themselves in print. The face characters often like to read about themselves. Once we met Goofy in Toontown. Even though he can't talk, he "made" me read his entry, then that of his friends, Mickey, Minnie, Daisy & Donald! I was getting a little antsy reading all the entries because all these little kids were wondering why I was hogging up his time, lol! DD1 loved it, though.

Brilliant!! That is such a fun idea, I love it!

Oh that is a way cute idea!

A new version is coming out soon. Our version was printed before the Princess & the Frog & Tangled. Not sure when your trip is, but if you want to go this route, you might want to wait for the new version. We might retire our book soon as it gets a lot of love at home. My girls often want me to read various entries from the book. It's literally falling apart, they love it so much!
