Autograph books?

I would also consider thinking about putting the autograph book in a ziplock bag-they fall apart if they get wet and ours mildewed. I was able to save the autographs by scanning them and fixing up water/mildew marks.

This is an excellent idea! We did the same thing... put the books in a ziploc, and then in the backpack... when we arrived at the meal we would take it out when we finished it went right back in the pack.

Last year, on my DD4's first WDW trip, we did not do an autograph book as I thought she was too young to really get the whole point, and she was satisfied with just pictures with the characters. This February, however, we plan on doing our first autograph book. Thanks, everyone for all the great tips!

Here is a helpful hint for all those sharpie marks on your new "vacation" clothes. If you pour rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, leave it on the mark for a couple of hours. The alcohol will remove the ink from the clothing!

We learned this a couple of weeks ago, when we got sharpie marks on clothing while my DD's cast was being signed.

I don;t know if this was mentioned, but I just thought about it.
Take the pictures from the last trip with the characters, and then have those printed to 5 X 7 and signed by the characters this time. Instead of a inserted photo autograph, this could be a sharpie autograph...Take a new pciture too,

oh I always like to take a picture in front of Mickey and Minnies mail boxes too,From a tiny tike to now 12.
