Autograph Books

I'm not sure the best place to ask this, so I'll start here. I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place I would like some ideas on how to make our own autograph books. I have seen ideas in the past but do not really remember any specifics. Could those of you who have done this yourself post your ideas or anyone who has a new idea let me know. I would love to do something creative and different. TIA

Instead of a book, we had the characters autograph a photo mat. I figured I would tuck away a book and not look at it much, but this I see all the time -
