Autograph Books

Okay we are getting an autograph book for our little one for WDW in a few weeks. On ebay they are 8.95ish plus shipping. Can you tell me before I buy one on there what they cost in the park. I think there are two kinds we are looking at one with the spongy cover the normal ones you see with mickey and friends on the front or princesses. And the ones with pens. Also does anyone make custom ones and do you have samples I can see and how much.

There are currently three types of autograph books available at WDW. There is a small, blue autograph book with Mickey and Friends on the cover. It is $7.40 with tax. There is a gold Happiest Celebration Autograph/Photograph Book with Pen. It is $13.79 with tax, but they are starting to phase it out. There is a pink Princess Autograph/Photograph book for $11.66 with tax.

Hi Kim,

I made my own scrapbook for my trip last year. There is a link in my sig to the images - if you are interested in making your own there are instructions on how to make one in the link too.

Each page has an image of the character and I got a lot of extra attention from characters who loved seeing their picture when they signed the book. I'm 29 and there were no kids in my party! Several DISers have used my pages since and I've heard some great stories about the extra pixie dust they got using them

I got the "Mickey and Friends" autograph book, WITH a pen that was on a cord for $4.99 on Ebay. I also got squished penny books for the same

I agonized over this. I wanted to get ones that I could put photos in as well. I have Feralpeg making up a basket to surprise the little ones with them in it - that way I KNOW I'll get the right thing!

just got back from disney yesterday--just wanted to warn you...my 2 year old had his autograph book stolen from the bag under his stroller while we went to a show. can't believe someone would steal an autograph book--isn't the fun of it getting the signatures. . .the worst park was it was stolen on our last day so, we didn't have time to replace it. . .poor guy cried for about an hour when he found out it was gone. . .

We have 4 kids in our party this year, so we decided to buy little hand held steno notedbooks with disney characters on the cover. We got 2 for $1.00 at The dollar Store. Last time i went I purchased an autograph book in the park, and knew the price for four would be outrageous. We figured the fun of getting the signatures was more important than what the outside looked like. That's life on a budget!!
