Ok, everyone here is always so helpful!! I need your advise please ! We leave on the wonder in 10 days... Of course I want to add to my already finished FEs. I thought about making autograph books for character autographs (either in person or to drop off at the front desk). What age do the kids stop collecting them? And they could be used for email/phone numbers for new friends for older kids... Would they use this? What about boys? Thanks for any input!!

Well, I saw adults getting autographs...and kids of all ages. I think its more about if the person is in to the characters or if they prefer to spend their time at the pool or elsewhere instead of meeting characters. :) We brought our autograph book with us because it was important to us. They also sell them on the ship. It would be a lovely gift, but I know, from personal experience, that we would not have used one from a FE because we are serious about our autographs so we came prepared (with matching sharpies and everything!)

BUT...this reminds me. There were a LOT of people asking to borrow our colored sharpies because they only had the stateroom pen with them. So that may be a fun idea.

My son liked getting autographs from age 3 to about 8. Then he was done. Now he doesn't really meet characters except maybe at Universal (or Disneyland with Thor and Captain America, so there's a heavy Marvel theme with his meet/greets). And the ONLY character he has met on a Disney cruise was Jack Sparrow, but he didn't get an autograph.

(Oh wait he met Dreamworks characters on a Royal cruise, but again, no autographs)

We never got into the autographs books. Our little one has always preferred to give something to the characters rather than waiting on them to sign something. The reactions she gets from giving Jessie a picture of Buzz that she colored or Elsa a picture of Olaf really makes her day and although it's not new for any of the characters, it's certainly less common than asking for an autograph so I think it makes her feel "special".

This is from a few years ago:

My girls quit with the autograph books around age 11. They still love getting pictures with the characters and have a photo matte signed by them at guest services, but they don't want to mess with hauling around the book. Have fun!
